[ACCEPTED] Day APPLICATION
« on: August 28, 2024, 03:29:59 AM »
First Name: Jesse

Last Name: Day

Age: 27

How long have you been playing ARMA? 5-9 Years

Have you read and met the requirements of joining Gold Squadron Realism Unit? Yes. I am disclosing that I am a public/casual member of an ArmA Reforger community, with a still-pending-initial application to said community’s “unit”. However that is not my priority, and is a contingency/fallback if my Gold application falls through.

Have you read and understood the Unit's definition of realism gameplay and is it the kind of experience you're looking for? Yes

Desired NEC / Officer Designation: 3912 Expeditionary Warfare Intelligence Analyst

ARMA III Player ID: 76561198031575240

How did you find out about us? Recommended/“recruited” by HateAndCaffeine following the pending shuttering of another unit we are both part of.

Attendance by all members is mandatory on Sundays 1900 CST (Central Time Zone). Will you be able to attend these times? Honestly, no, however Hate advised me that as an Intelligence Analyst, my hours would be more flexible. I am an Australian, and the Sunday night operations translate to Monday morning, which is incompatible with my day job.

Why do you want to join Gold Squadron Realism Unit? Honestly, I want to finally try out the world of fully functional MILSIM operations, as all of my ArmA life has been spent in either casual or semi-casual organisations and units. That and as mentioned above, a lot of my current circle of friends are migrating from a soon-to-be-closed unit and I wanted to tag along. I am aware that I may not be a desirable candidate for the unit given my time difference and inability to take part in the mandatory missions, but I still want to put my hand forward and contribute what I can.
